Rosh Hanikra
One of the highlights so far for me (I mean, let's face it, every minute has been a highlight, but) was the grottoes of Rosh Hanikra. These are caves carved into the soft chalk mountains at the border between modern Israel and Lebanon. I was not prepared for their beauty...pics below speak for themselves. Just keep in mind that not 100 feet from the cable car lies the uneasy border fence - this day it was guarded by these friendly guys who not only allowed us to take their picture, but also took pictures with us:
